12th Man – Support your club
Support your club
You may be aware that the Northern Ireland Executive has given the go-ahead for competitive sport to resume from the 17th July.
However we are still some way off from arranging fixtures and as things currently stand, there is ongoing work being done that will ensure we fully comply with the Covid-19 guidelines, and any games that will be played will be behind closed doors with no spectators present for now. The position is one which is continually being monitored by the Executive and and the Irish Football Association and the Northern Ireland Football League and we will of course keep you up-to-date with the latest information as and when we get that.
In terms of income, outside of the “12th Man” scheme and donations, we haven’t had any matchday income or club generated income since the 14th March.
Recognising that, and the loss of income that we had budgeted for through the likes of end of season events, quizzes and matches which were cancelled then hopefully people will realise why we would encourage as many of our supporters to sign up to the “12th Man” scheme or indeed if you are already signed up maybe you could consider increasing your monthly subscription? Normally, for example, at this time of year we would be advertising the sale of season tickets, but in the current situation we are of course unable to do that at present and cannot generate income as a result.
You can find out how to get more information on the “12th Man” scheme from our simple “Like Distillery?” image below or by following the link @ http://lisburn-distillery.net/club/the-12th-man-scheme/
Our genuine thanks to those who currently support the club through it or those who have made donations over recent months all of which have been very gratefully received, and needed, by the club.
