Lisburn Distillery End of Season Awards 2021-22
Last Saturday saw the 2021-22 season draw to an official close with our annual awards ceremony taking place at the club.
Amongst the winners were Jonah Nicholl who won the Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Season, Timmy Clarke who won the Lisburn Whites Player of the Season, Jonah Nicholl who won GWSC Player of the season, Aaron Harris who won the Ronnie McQuillan Memorial Trophy (received in his absence by Barry Moore) and Christian Irvine who won GWSC Young Player of the season (also received in his absence by Barry Moore)
Striker Mick O’Hanlon had a very successful haul on the night picking up the awards for Top Goalscorer, Coaches Player of the season and Players Player of the season.
There were also appearance awards made to Jonah Nicholl (100), Barry Moore (100), Mick O’Hanlon (50) with a further one to follow for Timmy Clarke for his making the 100 appearance mark.
Our Under 20’s were also awarded for their efforts with Graeme Lundy (Players Player of the Season), Jason Scott (Coaches Player of the Season), Callum McComb (Frank Hutchinson Cup) and Ryan Francey (Top goalscorer) all picking up awards on the night.
Kitman Gary Cressey was awarded with the GWSC Chairman’s Cup for services to the club with supporter Jackie Graham also presented with a momento for his lifetime of support for the club.
And finally it was great to see our 2011’s Academy team also attending the awards following their recent trophy success in the South Belfast Youth League knockout cup – well done boys!
