Managers Lunch on Saturday 13th Jan
Saturday 13th January, will be when we hold our second ‘Managers Lunch’ of the 2017/18 season.
Starting promptly at 12 noon we’ll hear from Colin McIlwaine and George O’Boyle on the season so far, before taking a break for Brunch. A traditional fry with sausages, bacon, eggs and the works for everyone attending.
We resume at approx. 1pm to welcome our special guest for the event who will be former Distillery striker Glenn Hunter.
Widely regarded as one of the Irish League’s best goalscorers, Glenn hung up his boots after an eighteen season career back in 2003 after picking up league winners medals at Linfield & Crusaders and a host of other accolades and honours along the way.
We welcome him back to Ballyskeagh in a fortnights time to talk about his career and his time at Distillery before the Whites take on Tobermore kicking off at 2pm.
Over the last few seasons the Managers Lunch events have proved very successful and welcomed such guests as Jim Magilton, Bobby Carlisle, Alan Snoddy, Billy Sinclair, Marty Quinn and Stephen Small amongst others.
Tickets for the event are priced at £10 per person or £5 for Under 16s. This can be paid in advance to either Ged Irwin or Ashley Wragg at any of the forthcoming fixtures, or you can pay on the day. However, if you plan to come along please let us know in advance to help with catering arrangements and please keep in mind, this does not include admission to the game.
