again to another heavy defeat – the same score-
Despite having five experienced regulars out, the young and inexperienced team at

It is hard for any club to accept five defeats in a row; it was all good and rosy in the garden when we were winning games, things were going well and everybody was positive. We have a massive game against Donegal Celtic next week, then Moyola away, and Tobermore at home and we have to dig two or three wins out of those games to make sure that we are going to be okay. We have to manage it the right way and we can certainly guarantee supporters and the club that we will be doing everything that we can to get us out of this wee bit of a problem that we are having.”

Time is now running out for all friends of the famous club to buy shares and own a part of Lisburn Distillery FC. Widely acknowledged as a club with a rich history, the club are looking to the future and aspire to return to senior football, develop it’s ground and have closer links in the local community.
The clubs revival on & off the pitch so far this season has been the result of a lot of hard work shared amongst the club’s volunteers behind the scenes, whilst the new management team of Colin McIlwaine & George O’Boyle have seen the team show signs of real progress in the league and cup competitions. There is a genuine feeling of determination to see the club return to it’s former glories and we appreciate that many supporters and those who have the club at heart, may not be able to attend matches regularly. We would encourage everyone connected with the club to contribute to the share issue as we look to rebuild and move the club forward.
The club have not issued shares for several years but felt the time was right to extend and open up the clubs ownership. Anyone buying shares will become a joint owner of LDFC, owning their very own stake in the club. The monies raised will be reinvested into the clubs finances. We will also be updating our current shareholders register and writing out to all current shareholders giving them the option to purchase additional shares at this time. Shares are available at a nominal price of £5 each (minimum purchase of five per person) and can be paid in cash, bank/online transfer, or cheque made out to ‘Lisburn Distillery FC’
For more information please contact Ashley Wragg at email@example.com for an application form or if you wish to read more with a view to making an online purchase click here for more information for purchases of £50 or less or click here for larger bulk purchases. Thanks to everyone for your support! Come on you Whites!
A big "THANK YOU" to our good friends from the Lisburn Distillery Scandinavian Supporters Club who attended the Donegal Celtic game on Saturday.
That's the seventh annual visit the club has now made. Jan Tholin, Christer Karlsson,
Christer Lindström, Roy Karlsson, Stefan Johansson, Uno Engqvist, Erik Gulliksson,
Peter Larsson and Jonas Samuelsson all made the trip this year -
Nine became ten when Neil Smith travelled down from Donegal to the game on Saturday
and joined up with the Scandis. We hope they had an enjoyable time despite the score-
There will be further coverage of their visit on Lisburn Distillery TV this week.
Well done to the New City Whites supporters club who held a highly successful Quiz
night on St.Patricks night. Over 70 people turned up to support the event on the
night so a big thank you to all who attended and for their support for the club -
The Echlinville Distillery Player of the Month Award for February 2017 was presented on Saturday before the home game against Newington. And for the first time this season, the monthly award has been won for a second time by the same player and that was club captain and defender Stephen Curley.
With that in mind and spring in the air, a good time to get out and about, The Echlinville
Distillery generously donated a different prize this month -
Well done to Stephen on his award and our thanks again to Shane Braniff and his team
at the award winning Echlinville Distillery for sponsoring the popular monthly award.
Tours of the distillery are available on-
