Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Month – November 2025
It’s from one end of the pitch to the other in terms of the Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Month award for November 2025.

The October award went to striker Benny Igiehon; this time round goalkeeper Marcus Thompson has deservedly picked up the popular award.
November was a tough month with five games but Marcus produced some great saves and consistent performances over that period. He is the first goalkeeper to win the award since Ethan Carry back in March 2024, and he received his award during a training session at a very cold and wintry New Grosvenor Stadium on Thursday night.

Marcus was presented with his award – a bottle of Dunville’s 1808 Blended Irish Whiskey, a modern blend of malt, grain and pot still whiskeys – by Distillery manager Lee Forsythe (right).
It was Lee’s first presentation since his appointment a few weeks back.
As always, we thank Shane Braniff and his team at The Echlinville Distillery for their very generous sponsorship of the monthly awards.
This is the fourth Dunville’s Irish Whiskey monthly award of the season and so far we have had four different winners. And whilst there is still a long way to go, the Dunville’s Player of the Season award looks like it is going to be wide open.
