“Spirit of The Eighties” – Distillery v Strabane Athletic
Another edition of The “Spirit of the Eighties” – our official matchday programme – will be available this Saturday.
Programme number 9 will be available for the visit of Strabane Athletic.
“This match was not on our original schedule but despite the time-factor involved I am pleased that a full matchday programme will be available this weekend” writes programme editor David Hunter.
“It was a disappointing end to the game at Planters Park last week and Lee (Forsythe) will be sharing his thoughts on that game in his manager’s column.
There is another two-page spread in our “RETRO” series returns, (a look back at a selected Distillery game against the day’s opposition), and we feature the clubs’ only other previous meeting, an Irish Cup game back in 2019.
In our “On this day” feature we look back at games against Larne, Coleraine and Dungannon Swifts, and there will be our usual regular club news, matchday squads and visitors piece in programme number 9 as well.
The league visit of Dergview on 11th April will see programme number 10 produced.”
The programme will be available from Neil Partridge, just inside the turnstiles, as usual, this Saturday.
