Spirit of the Eighties – Newry City
The “Spirit of the Eighties” – our official matchday programme, returns this Saturday with issue number eight on sale for the visit of Newry City.
“We welcome Newry City to New Grosvenor on Saturday and have produced another colourful and quality programme for the occasion” writes programme editor David Hunter.
“Lee (Forsythe) shares his views on last week’s win and performance at Crystal Park, Banbridge. And we have our usual regular club news, matchday squads and visitors piece to browse through.
Our “RETRO” series returns, (a look back at a selected Distillery game against the day’s opposition), with a two-page spread on a Premiership match between the sides at The Showgrounds back in 2008.
And we look back at matches against Annagh United, Dundela, Linfield and Larne in our “On this day” feature.
Programme number 9 – possibly our last – is planned for the league visit of Dergview on 11th April.”
The programme will be available from Neil Partridge, just inside the turnstiles this Saturday.
