Thanks and Remembrance
We would like to thank the McQuillan Family for kindly sponsoring the match, and match ball, against PSNI on Saturday.
The match was sponsored in memory of the late Ronnie McQuillan, our good friend and faithful Distillery supporter for well over seven decades who sadly passed away in July 2021. The family chose Saturday’s game as it was the home game closest to what would have been Ronnie’s birthday.
Pictured are Ronnie’s sons (l-r) Ryan, Richard and John and the family was also represented with grand-children and other family members in attendance. Our thanks to Ged Irwin and the Phoenix Coffee Shop who provided refreshments on the day.

And in a further tribute to Ronnie the upstairs viewing lounge has now been renamed the “Ronnie McQuillan Lounge” – son John is pictured at the official announcement event.

Also on Saturday, a minute’s silence was held before kick-off in memory of another good friend and Distillery supporter, Ronnie Partridge, who died on 11th December 2021 – Saturday being the first home game since his passing.
