How to find us …
New Grosvenor Stadium is located on the Ballyskeagh Road, Lambeg which lies on the outskirts of the city of Lisburn. There are several ways of travelling to the stadium and they are outlined below.
TRAVELLING BY CAR
From Belfast and the East
1) Westlink onto M1. Continue along M1 and turn off at Black’s Rd/Suffolk slip road. Turn left at lights, then right at lights in front of school. Pass under motorway and turn left at lights beside Tesco into Dunmurry Lane. Continue to end of this road and turn right at the “T” junction with the Upper Malone Road. Remain on this road for approx 1.75 miles, and once you pass over the M1 motorway the ground is on your right.
2) Westlink onto M1. Continue along M1, this time taking the Lisburn turn-off (Junction 6). Go around exit road roundabout, pass the Saintfield Road (into Lisburn-signposted Town centre/A49) and go up the next exit road, Largymore Link. Turn right at the lights, and remain on the Hillhall Rd for aprox 2.5 miles.
Turn left at Drumbeg Mews (on the corner of Drumbeg Rd ), continue down road and then left when you reach a “T” junction.
Follow this road and as above, once you cross over the M1 motorway the ground is on your right
3) Malone Rd to House of Sport roundabout. Follow signs for Drumbeg/Dixon Park along Upper Malone Rd- simply remain on this road for approx 3.5 miles, again ground on right once you pass over the M1 Motorway.
From the West
Exit the M1 at the Lisburn turnoff (Junction 6) and follow the directions under 2) above.
From Lisburn City Centre
Leave the city and head towards Belfast. Pass Wallace Park on your left, and continue along the Belfast Road until the traffic lights at Spar shop, Harmony Hill. Turn right at these lights, going underneath the railway line and remain on this road for almost 2 miles.
The ground is on your left, once you have passed over a narrow bridge, the one preceded by a left hand bend
TRAVELLING BY TRAIN AND BUS
Translink have some services which pass close to the ground. There is a railway station at Lambeg, that connects to Gt Victoria Street and Central Station, Belfast, but note that it is approx a 2 mile walk from the station to the ground and for midweek matches check train times carefully before taking this option to ensure you can make the connections.
Information on the closest bus-routes and times plus trains can be obtained from Translink at www.translink.co.uk or phone 90 66 66 30 (7.00 – 22.00hrs)
