Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Month – November 2024

With our planned award presentation at Knockbreda blown off course on 07th December by Storm Darragh, we presented the November Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Month award at Portstewart on Saturday.

The month started off with a 1-1 draw at home to Knockbreda with Adam McCart on target late on. That match was followed by a dramatic 2-2 comeback against Ballymacash, thanks to two goals from, and a great performance on the night by Aaron Cochrane.

Adam McCart was next with a double in an Intermediate Cup game against Rathcoole before the month ended with a narrow 1-0 defeat by league leaders Dollingstown.

It’s not the first Player of the Month Award to be presented to a Distillery player when at Mullaghacall – back in October 2018, Conor Curran (now with Banbridge Town) was presented with his award there.

So, congratulations to Adam McCart who received the November award – a bottle of Dunville’s 1808 Blended Irish Whiskey – from manager Barry Johnston. It’s Adam’s second monthly award at the club, his last one was back in January 2023.
