Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Season – Ethan Carry
Congratulations to goalkeeper Ethan Carry who was announced as the “Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Season” at the club’s “Awards’ Night” on Saturday.
He picked up three monthly awards over the season and although he missed the last six games of the season through injury, he proved a worthy winner. He missed those games after fracturing his wrist in the game against PSNI, and was unable to hold both awards – the Player of the Season trophy, and his bottle of Dunville’s1808 Blended Whiskey – on the night, and was given a helping hand by club director, Ged Irwin (left).
We once again thank Shane Braniff and his team at the award-winning Echlinville Distillery without whose support and backing these awards simply would not happen. It’s a great incentive to the players and a tangible link to our historic past that we as a club are immensely proud of to this day.
If you are planning a summer visit you can find out more about everything the Echlinville Distillery has to offer for a great day out and beyond, in terms of opening hours, cafe and shop opening hours and the award-winning product range here
Well done again Ethan and we hope to see you fully fit again ahead of the new season starting in August.
