“Spirit of the Eighties”

The “Spirit of the Eighties”, our matchday programme will return in a new format for this Saturday’s game against Coagh United.

“At the start of the season, the programme team planned four programmes this season” said programme editor David Hunter. “Last Saturday’s edition was actually the fifth programme of the season, and we decided we could probably do at least another programme before our last game away to Armagh City in April.

So, this week we are trialling a “lite version” of the programme. Everything still is in there albeit in a condensed format with some tweaks along the way. We will see what the response is, but we have chosen this option in an attempt to try to lessen the amount of work involved whilst maintaining interesting content and keeping the match-day programme experience going this season.

The “lite” format is stll full-colour A5 but four pages in total and will cost a nominal £1.00

If it works out we will consider a few more “lite” programmes in the weeks ahead, if not then then those who have it will have a collectors’ item! We do also plan to issue another of our normal eight-page publications before the season ends.
