Three New Signings
Lisburn Distillery are delighted to announce our first three new signings ahead of the 2023-24 season.
First up, joining the team having had previous spells at Linfield, Portadown and Dollingstown is 19 year old Gledis Cakaj. Albanian Gledis’ pace on the wings last season caught the eye of manager Barry Johnston who wasted no time in securing his signature when he knew he was available.
Next up we welcome highly rated 20 year old midfielder Arynn Annett who joins the club from Albert Foundry having spent time previously at Ballymena United. A tough tacking midfielder, Arynn, was one of the first names on manager Barry Johnston’s transfer list when he first became manager at Distillery so understandably he is delighted to eventually get his man.
Finally (for now) central defender Bailey Hoy has joined the club on loan from Premiership side Carrick Rangers. Although still only 20 years old Bailey has already featured for Carrick’s first team and is a player they hope will be able to show his full potential during his loan spell at the Whites.
Make sure to check our social media later on today for an exclusive interview with manager Barry Johnston about the new signings and we’ll be hearing from all three players themselves later in the week.
Welcome to the Whites guys!
