Three New Signings
Lisburn Distillery manager Barry Johnston has added three further players to his panel for the remainder of the 2024/2025 season.
First is 18 year old striker Sonny Redford, who joins from Bangor. Sonny made his Bangor debut in their Premier Intermediate League winning campaign of 2022/2023 and has since made a number of appearances for the current Championship table toppers during the first half of the current season and scored his first goal for The Seasiders in a League Cup game against Warrenpoint in October.
Our second signing of the day is 22 year old midfielder Conor Quinn. Conor was previously with Premiership sides Crusaders and Carrick Rangers and featured in a number of Premiership matchday squads with both, eventually making his Premiership debut in January 2022 as a substitute for Carrick against Crusaders. He then moved onto then Championship side Knockbreda and has spent the first half of the current season with Ballyclare Comrades.
Last, but by no means least, we can confirm the signing of 30 year old striker Tamer Atrach. Tamer has played for a number of clubs both in Northern Ireland and his native Israel with Knockbreda, Queens University and most recently Seagoe, who he scored a hat-trick for in a cup game against Valley Rangers earlier this season, amongst his former clubs. Sonny and Conor could make their debuts tomorrow but Tamer, like our earlier January signing Benjamin McKeown, is ineligible having already appeared in the Intermediate Cup this season so we will have to wait a little longer to see him in action.
Welcome to Distillery Sonny, Conor and Tamer! That’s it for now, but the transfer window is still open for more than two weeks, and as we know, things can always change in the drop of a hat.
