Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Player of the Month – August 2025
Lisburn Distillery Football Club is delighted that the “Dunville’s Irish Whiskey” Player of the Month awards have returned for a TENTH season and thanks all our very good friends at the award-winning Echlinville Distillery on the Ards Peninsula for their magnificent backing and support over all those years and for the season ahead.
And on Tuesday night, at training, Guillaume Keke proudly picked up the first award for this season.

Guillaume (left) is pictured receiving a bottle of Dunville’s 1808 Blended Irish Whiskey, under the lights at New Grosvenor, from Lisburn Distillery manager Stephen Hughes.
This season, each monthly winner will receive a bottle of Dunville’s 1808 Blended Irish Whiskey – a modern blend of malt, grain and pot still whiskeys. It’s a great award and a competitive one to be won with performances on the pitch.

In keeping with the iconic Dunville’s brand – “The Spirit of Belfast” – our aim as a club, as always, is to capture that winning “spirit” as much as possible over the coming season.
Thank you once again to Shane Braniff and his team for their very generous sponsorship.

- 2016-17 Echlinville Player of the Season – Darren Doherty
