“On the Bench”
There will be no “Spirit of the Eighties” (the club’s matchday programme) this Saturday however, David Hunter has produced a one-off club magazine to sign off on his “Distillery Collectables” project for 2023.
The “substitute” publication is A4 in size, 12 pages in total, all colour and costs £5. Whilst stocks last there will be a free A4 poster print of the Lisburn Distillery Ladies team that played Lisbellaw United back in May (see illustration) with it.
Inside “On the Bench” are illustrated interviews with manager Barry Johnston and club captain Ethan Carry, a three page pictorial on the Ladies League Cup success in 2023, a three page picture special on the recent Gold Cup 30th Anniversary event and a few other “bits and pieces” as stated on the cover.
It’s a good read in the quiet of Boxing Day!
This Saturday David will also have some other Distillery Collectables at the match if anyone wants to pick up a late stocking filler – “Illumination”, “O Conto de 63”, “Big Billy’s Boys” and a few remaining packs of the player picture cards .
All the profits after production expenses from the “Distillery Collectables” material goes back into the club and David passes on his thanks for the support received this year which has helped the club.
“On the Bench” will be on sale just inside the ground after you come through the turnstiles.
